The Truth About Health Care and Some Other Things.

Health just like education is more expensive because government is right in the middle. Both are held by a monopoly of education and government funding that makes it more “affordable” to people by indiscriminately throwing money at it. What happens when their is easy access to money. Bubbles are blown prices skyrocket and less people can afford to jump on the bandwagon to ride the sweet government gravy train of easy money.

The same thing happened with housing. They wanted every American to live the “American Dream” what they ended up doing is creating an American nightmare as people started defaulting and no one could get out at the end without loosing a significant amount of their “investment”. Same thing is happening with education now.

Why are there so many student loans going into default month after month? Because the “investment” in education is not paying off. Students in the U.S. at the University Level are much less intelligent than students in other countries such as Japan at the high-school level. Again we are getting sold a dream that doesn’t really exist and is making us much poorer. Students are leaving college with a mortgage with out ever even stepping into the workforce. This is a mortgage you can’t walk away from or discharge in bankruptcy.

With health insurance prices have been going up for a long time because we don’t even know what it cost to see a doctor if we have health insurance coverage. Even the doctors don’t know what they charge or how much a stay at the hospital would be. Everything is handled through a bureaucracy and every charge has a code attached to it to find out how much the hospitals can bill the insurance companies. The insurance companies then jack up the premiums to cover these outrages costs.
The "Affordable Care Act" was written by the insurance companies to make more money, not to help any one out. If no one had insurance at all prices would be much more realistic. Look at lasik eye surgery for instance or cosmetic surgery which are not covered by insurance. Every year the price of those things get cheaper as everything else in health care gets ridiculously more expensive. Look at India where they do heart bypasses for $2,000 in some very modern facilities with state of the art equipment. Google it.

Government and bureaucracy and crony capitalism and elitism and socialism will not fix anything. The Democrat Republican argument is old and tired. You must see pass all the garbage that our masters put out to control us. Its very difficult though since we have been indoctrinated since child hood in the public schools. It’s called cognitive dissonance. When you know that something isn’t right but it shakes your world view so much that you simply can’t accept it.

You want to afford health care? Lets stop throwing money into wars that cost billions and produce nothing, lets tax the tax free foundations where the super elite park there money. Lets get rid of the Federal Reserve bank and add value back to the dollar instead of stealing money from everyone especially those on fixed income like seniors through the hidden tax of inflation. Lets have a real free market. Lets advance humanity and let’s have everyone prosper everyone have more time and more money every one have prosperity. Not just the super elite and ultra wealthy that control the world. I’m not talking about the local millionaire that got his money from his car service company or the guy that is a millionaire because he made some smart moves business and now is a property owner and collects rents. I’m talking about the 5000 or so super rich that could end world hunger with just 10% of their combined wealth. I’m talking about these snakes that have gotten their money through generational wealth who most people probably haven’t even heard of their names. Let’s really fix this shit hole that we are in!

Cheers! You, Sir, are correct! And your explanation of Cognitive Dissonance is the most important thing for folks to grasp. It took me two years to stop being angry after I spent 36 straight hours googling and you tubing Tower 7… I had to end my 11 years of Naval Service and move on. But in retrospect, it was worth it.

    • Thanks for the comment. I try to push these things as gently as possible to people that I’m around.I was in the military also Air Force for 9 years. Needless to say I wouldn’t trade my service for anything else in the world but it is disappointing when you start to figure out the truth.

  2. Yoan, I love the way you wrote this post. I’ve been aware of all the things you’ve mentioned for awhile but I can’t articulate them nearly as well as you’ve done here! Big thumbs up to you 🙂

    • Thanks Warren. This was actually a reply to someone’s facebook post that got a little long winded so I decided to turn it into a blog entry. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I’ll post more things like this in the future.
